Dear Bandit: Skinny Jeans for Big Girls

I need help…I’m taking the leap and plan on purchasing a pair (or two) of skinny jeans. (it takes me a while to jump on the trend bandwagon). I worry because most people I see wearing these jeans are usually…well…skinny. Something that I am not. I’m not fat, per say, but I’m certainly no stick.
Can you please point me in the right direction? I don’t want to spend days, weeks or months trying on a thousand different of pairs of skinnies only to realize I need fatties.
Can us not so skinny folks wear skinnies, too?

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson returned to the stage at this year’s Super Bowl. She sounded incredible – we’re talking chills all over my arms – and looked absolutely stunning.
Not to get all psychoanalytical on her, but did anyone else think she looked like she’s lost a little weight? NOT that she needed to (don’t even start). I just thought she looked a little lighter, but who can blame her after the crushing family tragedy she has endured. But I’m glad to see her back and I admit I got a little choked up while she was singing the National Anthem.
I still can’t believe she wasn’t the American Idol but I suppose an Academy Award is a sufficient consolation prize, right?
