I’ve never been a fan of tie dye. For me, it conjures up images of hippie chicks with fuzzy legs who wear Birkenstock sandals and pretend to enjoy listening to The Grateful Dead.

NOT my scene.

But the tie dye mini dress Ashley Tisdale is wearing here is a retro look I can get on board with. It’s cute without being costumey, more groovy than “granola,” and the Fendi bag lends it a certain charm, don’t you think? Somewhere the anti-establishment patchouli enthusiasts are plotting a fashion revolt. Not that I don’t like hippies – I support their humanitarian pacifism. But Birkenstocks? Never gonna happen. But this dress is one to dye for.
