Want to be bronze without burning? The makers of Mystic Tan have introduced a new DIY at-home tanning system that is (almost) fool-proof. The mist spray delivers an instant glow, and your tan will deepen within a few hours.
The “Perfect Tan Kit” comes with a conditioning prep lotion, aerosol self tanning mist, and a tan enhancing moisturizer ($54 at Sephora). Considering a single sunless tanning session at a salon costs $35-50, this is a steal for sure. Plus, you’ll get enough product for a few applications with the starter kit.
My tip is to splurge on a sunless Mystic Tan or airbrush tanning session at your local tanning salon or spa, then use the Perfect Tan Kit to prolong your results.
And be sure to use sparingly around hands and feet or you’ll look like you’ve been making mud pies. I learned this the hard way.
