Thrifty Trend: Forever 21 Launches Plus Size Line
Forever 21, the retailer that brings Hollywood trends to the masses with incredibly reasonable (we’re talking bargain basement) prices, will finally introduce a pluz size line in May 2009. The new line will be called Faith 21.
I was recently listening to Cosmo Radio (XM 162) and two gals were lamenting about how most styles, regardless of the size, are created on a size 2 mannequin. That means that even though they make the same item in larger sizes, the proportions will always be most flattering on that itty bitty size 2.
Hello? What about the rest of the female population?
Here’s hoping Forever 21 will take womanly curves into consideration when designing these styles so they will look just as banging on more generous body shapes and sizes.
